About Annabelle
Welcome, I’m Annabelle Dawson-Moray osteopath and owner of Lemaria Osteopathy in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
It was while completing a Degree in Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Southampton I realised that a career in medicine was not for me, as although there are some amazing treatments I needed a more holistic approach to healthcare. It was in the next 18 months I decided that Osteopathy would be more suitable for me as it was based on the holistic model that the body was able to heal itself. As such, I went from one degree to another graduating from the European School of Osteopathy in 2006.
My passion for Osteopathy has grown throughout the years where I have been able to treat all ages and members of the family. While carrying out our required continuing professional development I have developed a special interest in babies, children, pre and post-natal mothers. Osteopathy has such a wide range of applications from back and neck pain, headaches to more complex problems.
Through the courses completed postgraduately I decided to focus my studies in the fields of cranial and visceral osteopathy, that give me a wider range of treatment options particularly for the very young and older patients.
